By using Roll Containers made of high tensile steel you can tremendously reduce the load of each truck. According to recent studies 1000kg lighter trailers would save 1L gasoline/100km. The difference in weight between a Roll Container made of high tensile steel - like all our Roll Containers - and a roll container made of normal steel is approximately 2 kg. This means a 13,5m trailer transporting 400 nesting roll containers is 800kg lighter, i.e. 0.8€/100km/truck can be saved, a huge saving per annum considering the amount of kilometres and trucks per day from DC’s to stores and the other way around.

By using Ready Display Packaging like the TDP (Tray-Dolly-Pallet) system, SmartArk Dollies or Dairytainers which can come directly from the producer to the cuastomer, you do not need any shrink wrap. The products are secured both in transit and when stocked.
