We at K. Hartwall work towards one common goal - improving the Logistics Efficiency of our customers. During the past five years, the design of Lean Dollies and Adaptor Pallets have been continuously improved to ensure ergonomics and safety. Following entrance into the North American market last year, a new line of Lean dollies and Adaptor Pallets has been developed to support regional standards for Lean production and assembly.
The K. Hartwall Lean Solution has been widely adopted by the automotive industry in Europe. By building a bridge between the internal and external logistics processes, manual handling is greatly reduced and efficiency is significantly increased for these facilities. This solution has facilitated the integration of wheeled logistics throughout the supply chain, between sub-suppliers, tier 1’s and OEM’s, and thus brought considerable cost savings to the customers.
To ensure successful introduction of the K. Hartwall Lean products into the North American market, K. Hartwall has partnered with Lean Factory America. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Lean Factory America has significant experience and understanding of the assembly market and Lean principles. The new product portfolio will be launched in the Lean Factory America booth, #635, at the MODEX Show in Atlanta on March 17 – 20, 2014.
The company is convinced that, together with Lean Factory America, these innovative solutions will further improve the logistics supply chain in the North American market.
